Coming from a culture that centers concepts of village and community most certainly influences my approach to my work as a doula. In fact, here’s a picture of me with my grandmother who lived with my family my first few years of life. I deeply believe people are not meant to navigate their pregnancy and postpartum journeys alone.
For more than a decade, I felt a quiet pull toward doula work. Long before I officially trained to serve families, I was the person many friends and family turned to during their early days of parenthood—the one who brought the nourishing food, stayed calm in the chaotic moments, and offered a steady, empathetic ear.
There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching a new parent transition from those initial, overwhelming days into a place of deep confidence, independence, and peace. This is your unique journey—I'm just here to make sure you feel entirely supported every step of the way.
When I’m not serving new families, you’ll find me resetting by spending quality time with loved ones, preparing and/or eating delicious things, playing in the pottery studio, enjoying all kinds of live music, or going on a slow-girl hike where I can enjoy every creature and cute patch of moss I find.
Meet Your Doula
My Philosophy
Bringing home a new baby is a beautiful, world-shifting experience—but it can also come with a flood of opinions, conflicting advice, and noise. In the middle of all that transition, it is so easy to lose touch with your own intuition.
My approach is simple: Breathe. I’ve got you.
I became a postpartum doula because I believe that the "village" shouldn't just take over; it should build you up. My goal isn't to be the hero of your story. I deeply believe that you already have exactly what you need inside you. My job is simply to quiet the outside noise, provide the nurturing and coaching you deserve, and hold space for you to build trust in your own instincts.
I am deeply committed to providing a safe, affirming space for all families, regardless of your gender identity, ethnicity, or family structure, and however you choose to grow your family—whether through birth, adoption, or surrogacy. I am dedicated to educating myself to be a better person and doula and am ready to learn about what’s most important to you. You deserve to be completely seen, heard, and held.
